The College runs two self-financing certificate courses in PUBLIC RELATIONS AND ADVERTISING (UGC sponsored) and MULTIMEDIA AND ANIMATION (UGC sponsored). A fees of Rs.1500 per annum is charged per student for the smooth running of these self-financing Programme. These two courses have computers with special software required for the courses. The objective behind running these two self-financing programmes is to provide the students with better career options and equipping them to face the challenges of the job market.
The Career Counselling and Job Placement Committee of the College has been organizing various programmes for career development and job placements since 2002. In the session 2006-07 major IT/BPO organizations like Infosys, TCS, IBM, Cognizant (CTS), Tech Mahendra, Accenture and WIPRO conducted campus recruitment programmes for final year undergraduate students. 75 (seventy five) interested and eligible students from all streams have been selected for placements last year (2007) by these high profile companies. Infosys also initiated their Campus Ambassador programme both in 2006 and 2007 from among interested students. This year 3G, Satyam, TCS and IBM Daksh also recruited some students.
The Students' Welfare Committee arranges for one time financial assistance to students for which applications are invited annually.
The college has a Grievance Redressal Cell, a Psychological Counselling Cell to see to the problems faced by the students. Being a girls college A Sexual Harassment Cell has been set up in August 2014 which looks after the needs of the students.
