b) Post Graduate teaching: 10 years ( Jadavpur University Faculty Member- Evening Section & Lady Brabourne College, P.G.Section).

c) Guiding M.A. level Dissertation since 2010

d) M.Phil Examiner for Department of English, Jadavpur University.

Research Experience:

  1. PhD thesis on “The Literary Criticism of T.S.Eliot: Paradoxes and Antinomies”.
    • Pursued research under the guidance of eminent philosopher, scholar, author & former Head, Dept of English, JU, Prof Sati Chattopadhyay.
    • Recipient of British Council Visitorship Award, 1990 to the Modern Archives. King's College, Cambridge University, U.K., to conduct Doctoral Research under Prof. Michael Halls, on the unpublished manuscripts of T.S.Eliot, held in the John Hayward Bequest at the Modern Archives  Degree awarded by Jadavpur University in 1995.

  2. Project Head and Coordinator of the Major Research Project The Role of Lady Brabourne College in Educating the Minority Woman and its Impact on the Emancipation and Empowerment of the Woman in Bengal, a funded Project under IQAC and the Women's Studies Centre, Lady Brabourne College, jointly funded by the Higher Education Department, Govt of West Bengal,  No 227(Sanc)- EH/P/CG/4C-63/2013 dt 6th September, 2013 and the Women's Studies Centre, Lady Brabourne College.

b) Modernism and Post Modernism: Literary Theory and Poetry

c) Post Structuralist Readings of Shakespeare.

d) Comparitive Studies in Post Modern trends in Romanticism.

e) Post Modern contextuality of Fyodor Dostoevsky.

f) Teachers' Council Secretary by G.O. during Ist Cycle of Accreditation by NAAC, 2006.
g) Convener of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), a recognized unit of the National Assessment & Accreditation Council, Bengaluru, affiliated to U.G.C & the Government of West Bengal for Promotion & Sustenance of Higher Education & Advanced Learning in graded colleges, at Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata, since 2008. The post of Convener, IQAC is a UGC sanctioned Executive post since the XIth and XIIth Plan period.
h) Initiated the founding of the PG Department of English at Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata as Convener, IQAC, 2009.
