About me

Besides history, she also teaches womenís studies at the general level. She is a member of the editorial board of the Womenís Studies Centre, Lady Brabourne College, and is currently editing an anthology of essays on womenís issues along with Dr. Krishna Dasgupta, Associate Professor, Department of Philosophy.


Dr. Bandyopadhyay is also a visiting faculty at the School of Womenís Studies, Jadavpur University. She specializes in the social/gender history of late colonial Bengal. She has been regularly publishing on different aspects of the above field of specialization.
